Ceramic horse ale bowl. Traditional Scandinavian ale bowls were made of wood, but I make mine out of clay! This bowl is wheel thrown with stoneware clay, with handbuilt head and tail. The bowl is handpainted with Telemark Rosemaling and traditional protection symbols on the head and border. This and all my pottery is food safe and functional.
